McDonald’s - Non-US saw a notable spike in downloads, reaching a peak of approximately 139K in the week of November 30th, compared to around 82K at the start of the quarter. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, with a peak of nearly 1.5M in the same week.
Across the pond, McDonald’s U.K. experienced a significant surge in downloads in late October, with a high of around 93K. The app's weekly active users saw a steady increase, peaking at around 350K at the end of December.
The Subway® - Official App also witnessed fluctuations in its download numbers, with a high point of over 78K in mid-October. The app's weekly active users reached their zenith in early December, with more than 86K users engaging with the app.
In Germany, McDonald’s Germany saw its downloads rise to approximately 41K at the end of December, up from around 33K at the beginning of the quarter. The weekly active users saw a high of over 450K towards the end of November.
Lastly, McDo France had its highest number of downloads in mid-October, reaching over 43K. The app's weekly active users peaked at over 566K in the last week of October, showing strong engagement in the French market.
